Operation Grip Targets Anti‑Social Behaviour in Tadcaster

Today, Friday 16 January 2026, North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Council joined forces in Tadcaster as part of Operation Grip, a proactive initiative focused on reducing anti‑social behaviour (ASB) and improving community safety.

Officers and council staff worked together throughout the day to respond to recent reports of ASB in the town. The operation involved targeted patrols, engagement with local residents and businesses, and visits to individuals identified as being involved in recent incidents.
